ReportServer Authentication

description

There is no way to authenticate against ReportServer in version 1.1.2. The new .XSD schema validation prevents a ReportServer UserName and Password attribute from being entered, even though the code (Settings.cs) supports those attributes.

My fix has been to simply modify the .XSD to include these attributes for the ReportServer complex type and then rebuild the assembly:

  <xs:attribute name="UserName" type="xs:string">
    <xs:annotation>
      <xs:documentation>
        The user name that the report server uses to connect to a data source.
      </xs:documentation>
    </xs:annotation>
  </xs:attribute>
  <xs:attribute name="Password" type="xs:string">
    <xs:annotation>
      <xs:documentation>
        The password that the report server uses to connect to a data source.
      </xs:documentation>
    </xs:annotation>
  </xs:attribute>
